Can you tell us more about your business?
Messing around with polymer clay for fun in my free time somehow turned in to a fabulous business for me! I began incorporating polymer clay food beads in to other jewelry I was making. Over the years, I streamlined and simplified my designs to create a distinct collection of miniature food jewelry. Sweet Stella Designs turned from a hobby to a "hobby with benefits" to a "creative side-hustle!" :)
What aspect of your business makes you proud?
I'm very proud of how my craftsmanship has improved over the years - I'm constantly striving to improve my techniques and come up with new ways to add detail and whimsy to my work. I'm also proud that I've somehow managed to make my small biz work while I'm a full-time art teacher! The struggle is real, folks.
Is your business involved in any charity work in the local community?
I frequently donate product for local charity & non-profit fundraisers and auctions.
