She enjoys showing those who think Ohio is a boring place to live that they can find extraordinary things to change their outlook. Aimee currently attends Wright State University but spent her freshman year at Indiana University Bloomington. She also spent some of her time while in high school living in Southern California. The unique cities she has lived in have allowed her to appreciate the unique places that Ohio has to offer. She plans to continue to capture the beautiful places Ohio has as her adventures develop.

Carey Sherrill

Sherrill is an Ohio native - born and raised in Cincinnati. He went to see the rest of the world and came back to live in Columbus. He is a semi-retired custom furniture maker who still has 9 and 7/8th of his fingers. When urban trees came down, he would save them from becoming mulch or firewood by turning them into lumber and making stuff. He is married to a beautiful artist and they have a beautiful daughter, who they say is smarter and more artistic than both of them. Sherrill is a huge fan of nature and he does not mind getting some of it on him. The Columbus Metro Parks are his happy places.

As an amateur photographer Sherrill enjoys the freedom to take pictures of whatever he chooses and he is more artist than archivist. Frequently Sherrill enjoys processing his photos as much as taking them because he's a big computer nerd. He shoots with a Sony a3000 and Sony a5000. His primary landscape lens is a Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 DC but he is a sucker for old Minolta Rokkor and Celtic lenses. He is learning to use the large format field cameras he inherited from his grandfather, but that's going to take awhile.

You can see most of Sherrill's photos on Instagram @sherrill_photo and see higher res versions as well as behind the scenes shots and more details on his blog at When he is out and about and has cell service, Sherrill posts locations, behind the scenes shots and wildlife to @sherrill_photo_bts on Instagram.
