Exploring and adventuring are more of a necessity than a hobby for Jeffrey Stroup. Since childhood he has had an insatiable need to see the nooks and crannies of the city, the paths less traveled, the forgotten and neglected. When he was sixteen he found a 35mm point and shoot camera on the side of the road. That lucky find eventually led to art shows and a photography business. Currently living in Cleveland, he spends most of his time exploring the miles of train tracks, abandoned buildings, the bridges, and even the tunnels beneath the streets. Traveling whenever and wherever, he always loves coming back home to Ohio where even after thirty-three years he is still finding new incredible places to photograph.
