While she has definitely been amongst those who regard Ohio as state with bipolar weather and “corn fields for miles,” India knows that there is so much this place has to offer - and loves exploring it! She has been capturing the moments of Ohioans as a portrait photographer for the past four years. From weddings, senior pictures, family portraits and everything in between - she has a vibrant love for photography of people in the place they call home. “Mostly, I want my art to point back to my Maker, so that those who enjoy it can sense the love that I have come to know through Christ.”
India appreciates the outdoors; the gorgeous views in Black Hand Gorge, the hidden paths of Hocking Hills, the adventure of repelling at John Bryan State Park and the hidden areas of green in between. She is almost equally as drawn to the city as the natural spaces, “my heart skips over itself when I see the skyline of Columbus - the energy of the Short North, the excitement on the streets and the possibility in the atmosphere all add on to my energetic spirit and empower my desire for adventure.” Aside from photography, she is thoroughly passionate about art in almost all of it's forms. She loves to draw, dance, sing, paint, and make things for others to enjoy. India studies at Columbus College of Art & Design and is pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Advertising & Graphic Design with minors in Business and Photography.
